“We started in 2016 in Bucharest and then continued with editions in Cluj from 2018, with a few special editions. In 2019, we introduced an edition dedicated to the new harvest, which has since evolved into the autumn edition that you know today, all with a single intention: to place Romanian wine alongside international wines of the same caliber or even at a significantly higher price, so that wine lovers can taste, compare, and analyze in real-time the quality of Romanian wines. And more than that, to discover their story and be able to share it because there is no better ambassador for Romanian wine than someone who genuinely and unconditionally loves it, who is proud of it and wants to show it to their friends and loved ones. <\/span><\/em><\/p>\n

RO-Wine<\/strong> is indeed a meeting place\u2014between people, between businesses, between businesses and their existing or potential customers\u2014but it is more than that. As every year, the areas of Fratelli Studios are specialized\u2014one salon for Romanian and Moldovan wines, a salon for Italian delights, a section dedicated to importers and those looking to introduce themselves to the Romanian market, as well as an area dedicated to live cooking. Officially, the first day remains dedicated to industry professionals\u2014who, don’t forget, have free access based on prior registration on the event’s website. <\/span><\/p>\n

The average number of wines presented at the festival in recent editions has been around 1,000, so you need to plan carefully what you want to taste. It’s best to consult the website and the organizers’ announcements to have a list of producers you want to discover, rediscover, or whose new wines you want to evaluate. <\/span><\/p>\n
