Accepted synonyms[2] <\/span> <span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">labelling for wines produced in Romania are<\/span> <i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Poama Fetei, Pasareasca alba, Madchentraube, Leanyka, Leanka<\/span><\/i> <span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">.<\/span><\/p><p><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Feteasca alba<\/span><\/i> <span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">is a parent for:<\/span> <i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Feteasca regala, Rosina<\/span><\/i> <span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">and<\/span> <i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Zefir<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">. These new varieties were developed by specialists in Romania and Hungary, so they are obtained by  <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">hybridization<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> controlled. According to known data, the parents of the Romanian variety  <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Feteasca regala <\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">are (mother) <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Feteasca alba<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> and (father) <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Francuse<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">.  <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Parents<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> Romanian variety <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Rosina<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> are (mother) <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Garonnet<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> and (father) <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Feteasca alba<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">. Hungarian variety  <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Zefir\/ Zephyr\/ Badacsony 2<\/span><\/i> <span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, has as parents (mother)<\/span> <i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Harslevelue\/ Frunza de tei<\/span><\/i> <span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">and (father)<\/span> <i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Feteasca alba<\/span><\/i> <span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">.<\/span><\/p><p><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Rosina<\/span><\/i> <span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">has in the ascendant after the mother<\/span> <i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Garonnet<\/span><\/i> , <i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Siebel<\/span><\/i> <span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">interspecific hybrid genes<\/span> <span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">from which we can deduce that it has many similarities with the resistant varieties created by German researchers, the so-called<\/span> <span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">PIWI<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">.<\/span><\/p><p><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Zefir<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">is descended from <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Harslevelue<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> mother a variety known to us as well, <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Furmint<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, from which we can deduce that it would lend itself to the harvesting at the time of the grapes\u2019 ennoblement, that moment when the grapes are attacked by the noble rot, which makes them sweeter and with specific aromas of overripe, honey and caramel.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Feteasca alba<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> is extremely sensitive (score 1 on a scale of 1 to 10) to downy mildew attack (<\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Plasmopara viticola L.<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">.), powdery mildew (<\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Erysiphe necator Schwein<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">.), certain variants of cercosporiosis (<\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Cercospora sp.<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">.) on leaves and grey rot (<\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Botrytis cinerea Pers.<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">) on bunches. It is very sensitive to powdery mildew on bunches (note 2) and relatively resistant to anthracnose <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Elsino\u00eb ampelina Shear.<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">.) (note 7).
