The HB Wine Winery is located in Podgoria Miniș-Măderat, one of the oldest wine-growing regions in Romania, with a tradition of over eight centuries. Lying on the hills of the Zarandului Mountains, between the Mures and Crișul Alb rivers, the area is famous for its unique terroir, characterized by thin soil lying on a noble rock, "Rupes Nobilis." Horia Ban, co-founder of the Association of Wine Culture and Civilization – Millesime Oradea, owns the winery. A significant milestone in HB Wine’s development was the collaboration with winemaker Clara Kardos, who managed the winemaking process, contributing to producing wines that authentically reflect the terroir of Miniș. In 2023, the winery inaugurated a boutique-style building equipped with modern technology, and in September, it launched its first rosé wine, followed by red and white wines. The expansion also included a 300-square-meter building, an enology lab, a tasting room, and guest accommodations.
