(winemaking) – orange wine, correctly called white wine with maceration, is a bright orange wine produced from white grapes, following the technology of red wine making, i.e. including a period of maceration on the must. Although the process is slightly oxidative, these wines are not allowed to be oxidized. They are extractive, full-bodied, rich, expressive wines.
